Introduction to my workshops

Playing with the ropes (Bondage) requires good and solid knowledge about the human body, the possible physical and psychical consequences, materials used and how to bind and knots to use. This knowledge can only partially gained by watching videos or reading books because this media lacks the direct knowledge mediation of watching,
feeling and experience.

A Kinbaku workshop is a living form of communication and learning. In a tranquil atmosphere the basis and more will be educated, questions answered and the fresh knowledge applied. Direct corrections, discussions, exchange and professional guidance during the time spend together are the key benefits of a Kinbaku workshop.
 
I set the focus on one to one workshops. I like you to gain the most out of the Kinbaku workshop, this is why I refrain usualy from teaching large groups. In my workshops I focus on security, quality and fun.

Shibari is a rope bondage system based on several centuries of tradition, drawing on a large pool of codified techniques handed down from the samurai ages.

In Japan, Shibari and Kinbaku have developed into independent disciplines that are today practiced by both amateurs and professionals. Within established Shibari/Kinbaku dynasties the individual techniques (shibari kata) are traditionally passed on to selected students (deshi). Achieving mastery usually takes between six to ten years of intensive study.

Speed Workshop

To learn a specific bondage or shibari is one thing, to apply it quickly and efficiently is another.

Join in as I teach you how to speed up, how to avoid confusing your hands and fingers, and little tricks to make your bondage life easier. For a sufficiently skilled Kinbaku practicionair four (4) hour is minimum duration for this class.

For each workshop I'll provide beverages like Cola, water, juice and little snaks.

Please wear something comfy, refrain from wearing joulery and in case you are a female please wear a jogging bra if any.

Only one student at a time. If needed a model can be provided. Join in for a Kinbaku workshop that will change the way you see and experience Shibari.

The content of this class is adapted to the individual skills and knowledge of the student and his training goals. I'm happy to consult in any questions and to set up an personalised training programm for you.
 
If you are an absolute beginner, I recomend you start with at least 10 hours of Kinbaku training. This lessons can be splitt across one to two weekends, with three hours lessons a day. 
Depending on speed of learning - which is very individual - it is advisable to go for fourty (40) hours of Kinbaku training to become sufficiently skilled from the very start and to gain a minimum level of understanding on the key concepts of japanese bondage (Kinbaku).

Keynotes and Seminars

Some topics in the field of Kinbaku require a more deeper approach covering a good part of theoretical knowledge before this theory can be adapted to practical experience. Especially the medical, psychologic and emotional aspects to Kinbaku but other topics like physic too require theoretical insights and knowledge. These topics are covered in seminars in which a rope stays in the bags but not the fun.
